The Kids for Jesus School of Virtue is a monthly component of our students' Religion classes. We strive to motivate children to practice virtues, make good choices, and love Christ through their Catholic faith. Each month, students are challenged with a new "mission" that focuses on a virtue, such as Responsibilty, Friendship, Perserverance, etc. Parents are encouraged to log onto www.kfj.org/user/register/hfo in order to register their children so they can participate in online activities regarding the virtue. They can also access the Mission Headquarters where they will earn recognition for their total points for each month. This program is available to all students in grades PK- 5th. Additionally, students in grades PK-3rd will be invited to a monthly performance by the K4J Skit Club and will also receive a monthly lesson regarding the virtue of the month during their religion class in school.
In addition to the above program that is offered to all students through the school, K4J also offers a club. The K4J Club meets once a month after school and uses crafts, games, service projects, and other activities to jump start the children on their "Mission of the Month." The K4J Club is open to all students in grades PK - 5th grade. Students in 6th-8th grade are also welcome to join the club as Captains. They will assist in teaching, leading games, and assisting in crafts. Sevice hours are earned for participation.
